Baltimore City with the support of Mayor Sheila Dixon and the Department of Parks and Recreation have agreed to construct the Locust Point dog park. Locust Point has been chosen as the FIRST City-constructed dog park because of the hard work our committee members have put forth in the past 18 months.

The park was dedicated by Mayor Dixon on Friday, October 10. Make sure you check out the pictures from the event below.

We would sincerely like to thank everyone that has been involved in helping make this dream a reality. Especially those on the Locust Point Dog Park Committee who have had spent countless hours and vast amounts of energy.

We would also like to thank Mayor Sheila Dixon for her support, as well as:
Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, City Council President
Edward Reisinger, City Council Vice-President and District 10 Councilman
Wanda Durden, Director of Parks and Recreation
